Two Whole Years

We made it!  No, only joking.  Michael and I have been married for two years.  Doesn't seem quite right.  Two years and baby #2 on the way.  People joke, what happens next year?  My response, "Not three in three...promise!"  Mike was on a trip during the day, but made sure I felt exceptionally special.

It was more than I ever thought he'd do.  He's not big on celebrations, but this is a day we should celebrate if any.  I felt so special and loved on this day.  He did excellent.

Time With Daddy

Due to Daddy's profession, we don't get much time with him.  So when we do, we always try to make the best of it.  I don't know who doesn't, but I guess I'm just saying we've learned to treasure anything we can do together.  Mike was home Friday and Saturday night, which happens maybe once every three months.  He grilled dinner on Friday night- pork on the grill with his yummy sauce, salad, and baked potatoes.  We went for our routine family walk after Addison's bath, then put her down shortly after we got home.  We watched the St. Louis Cardinals get no-no'd.  Games like that keep you on the edge of your seat pitch by pitch.  It was the first no hitter in Mets history!  Then watched some shows ourselves.  I stayed up till 10:30 with him, which is saying something.

Saturday we had to take our cars for their state inspection.  Whoopie!  We didn't do much all day.  Just normal family things...Mike and Addie took a long nap, I ran errands, then we made our neighbors dinner and duplicated it for ourselves!  BBQ chicken pizza with a citrus salad...yummy dinner two nights in a row : P  We are on a roll. (Too bad Daddy is gone today.  Boo.)

Our neighbors just had their baby girl, Norah.  I held her for a little while.  *AH* It just takes me back...to these days:
{she was so small}
I seriously don't remember her being this little.  I mean I do.  I held her.  I remember being uncomfortable and just wanting to go home.  I remember bringing her home.  Her first doc appt.  I just can't grasp that my little girl who is almost walking was ever this little.  Addison whined and reached for me several times while I held Norah.  Poor thing didn't understand why her Mommy wasn't holding her!
{here we are this past week...my bundle of joy}

Today we have a pool party at our neighborhood pool.  Lou LOVES the water, so I thought we'd adventure out.  Plus this ghostly white color is really starting to bug me.  I need a tan!!
